Food Licensing and Registratin System [FLRS]

General Topics

• All the Akshaya Centre Entrepreneurs (ACE) are requested to create an email ID exclusively for this project
• If the FBO does not have a functional email ID, provide this email ID in the application. All communications regarding modification/renewal etc. of the License/Registration will be received in this mail ID.
• Separate User ID and password should be created for each FBO

1. User ID created
2. Password
3. email ID given in the application,
4. Date of online submission of Application for Registration/License
5. Online Reference Number of application submitte

ACE should maintain a register with the following details for this project

• Name of FBO
• Name of Shop/Company
• Email ID (if FBO does not have email ID, ACE's email ID created for this project)
• Mobile No.
• User ID created
• Password
• Date of online submission of Application for Registration/License
• Online Reference Number of application submitted.

First step is to Confirm with the FBO whether the application is for Registration (turnover upto 12 Lakhs/annum) or License (turn over above 12 lakhs and less than 20 crores). FBOs withtrun over of Rs. 4000/- perday & above shall apply for license.

Application for Registration

• Go to the site address www.fssai.gov.in
• Select Food Licensing & Registration System (FLRS) link.
• Create User ID for each and every Food Business Operator(FBO). for this, Press 'Sign up' and give required details. If FBO does not have email ID, provide ACE's email ID created exclusively for this project.
• 'Sign in' using the created User ID and password.
• Select "Apply for License/Registration' option from 'License/Registration'
• Press 'Accept' for declaration.
• Select State of Premises for which License/Registation is being applied
• Are you operating (Premises located in) in more than 1[One] State?
• Press "No" for State License.
• Are you already holding Licens/Registration Certificate given under other laws existing prior to Food Safety and Standards Regulations.2011 ? Press 'No" for new registration
• Select 'Kind of business'.

          In most cases the selection will be manufacturer or Other business. select the sub category and click on Turnover upto 12 lakhs/annum for Registation. Press' Proceed'

• Now you are ready for application and press 'Click to apply'
• Provide all the details in Form "A" (Application for Registration under Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006)

           Subdivision corresponds to Legislative Assembly Constituency

• Select No. of years you want to apply for form 1 to 5. The Period cannot be changed once the application has been submitted
• Provide the details of food items proposed to the manufactured or sold. select each item and press 'save and add'. Selecat 17 for Producats not covered into category 1-16.
• Upload photo and Self-attested Document for Identity Proof
• Upload self -attested Supporting documents
• After entering all other details press "Proceed for payment"
• Select payment mode as online and Make payment. Free is Rs. 100/- for one year.

ACE is advised to use the debit card for payment as the payment gateway charge for Debit and Credit card is 0.85%+Service tax. In this case the feee is only Rs. 100/- Hense the payment gateway charge will be only 96 paise. (Please do not user net banking  as the payment gateway charge is Rs. 11/- iirrespective of the amount.)

• Press 'Submit' to submit the application.
• Take the print out of submitted application and get it signed by the FBO. sScan the signed copy of application from and upload and selecat submit electronically. Take the print out of the Acknowledgement Slip generated and handover to FBO.

Application for LICENSE

• Go to the site address is www.fssai.gov.in
• Select Food Licensing & Registration System (FLRS) link.
• Create User ID for each and every Food Business Operator (FBO). For this, Press 'Sign up' and give required details. If FBO does not have email ID, provide ACE's email ID created exclusively for this project.
• 'Sign in' using the created User ID and password.
• Select 'Apply for License/Registration' option from 'License/Registration'
• Select the State of Premises for which License/Registration is being applied.
• Are you operating[Premises located in] in more than 1 (One) State?

Press 'No' for State license.

• Are you already holding License/Registration Certificate given under other laws existing prior to Food Safety and Standards Regulations, 2011 ?  'No" for new License
• Select 'Kind of Business'

        In most cases, Manufactruer of Other business. Select the sub category and click on Turnover upto 20 crores/annum for License. Press 'Proceed'

• Now you are ready for application and press 'Click to apply'
• Provide all the details in Form "A" (Application for Registration under Food Safety and Standards Act,2006) Subdivision corresponds to Legislative Assembly Constituency
• Select No. of years you want to apply for from 1 to 5.The period cannot be changed once the application has been subitted.
• Slect payment mode as online . Make payment . Fee is Rs. 2000/- for one year.

ACE must use net banking for payment. Net banking charge is Rs. 11/- (Rs. 9.75 + Service tax), to be collected from FBO.[Pl do not use debit card  as the payment gateway charge is high (0.85% + service tax). ]

• Press 'Submit' to submit the application.
• Take the print out of submitted application and get it signed by the FBO Scan the signed copy of application form and upload and select submit electronically.
•  Take the print out of the Acknowledgement Slip generated and hand over to FBO.
